Hi, I’m Martin Bamford, an experienced events photographer in the Surrey Hills. I photograph events where people and purpose matter.
My event photography work focuses on capturing the human side of important moments, the interactions, expressions, and atmosphere that show what an event was really about. That might be a charity gala, a corporate gathering, a cultural event, or a high profile visit where how things are seen carries real weight.
I can work to a detailed shot list, or with a general brief to document what unfolds.
Because much of my work is centred on portraiture, I pay close attention to how individuals are represented within the wider story. Leaders, speakers, performers, and guests are photographed in a way that feels professional and human, not staged or transactional.
My background working with media and communications means I understand what images are needed for press, reporting, social channels, and future promotion. You will receive a well edited gallery of photographs that are ready to use immediately and continue to serve you over time.
