I’m often out photographing or working with clients, so replies are not always instant. Email is the best way to reach me at martin@bamfordphoto.co.uk, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I am able.

About Martin
I’m a portrait, brand, and event photographer based in Cranleigh, working across the Surrey Hills and beyond. My work centres on people and how they are seen, whether that is in a single portrait, within a wider brand story, or during an important public moment.
Before photography, I spent twenty years in a people-facing professional role where trust, clarity, and reputation mattered. That background still shapes how I work. I’m considered, discrete, and focused on creating images that stand up to real use, not just quick attention.
Much of my work is with ambitious professionals, creative businesses, charities, and organisations who care about how they present themselves. I’m interested in quiet confidence, clear intent, and photographs that feel believable and lasting.
I’m closely connected to the Surrey Hills and the Cranleigh community. This includes long-term voluntary roles alongside my photography, which reflects the same values I bring to my client work. Care, consistency, and showing up properly.
When I’m not working, I am usually outdoors, with family, or attempting to keep two energetic dogs pointed in roughly the same direction.

Say hello!
If you’re considering a portrait, planning an event, or building a brand, and want photography that feels intentional, tell me a little about what you have in mind.
You don’t need a fully formed brief. Most projects start with a simple conversation about what you’re trying to achieve and how you want to be seen. From there, we can work out whether I’m the right fit and what the next step should be.
If that sounds useful, I would be glad to hear from you.
